Possibly, when you travel to Los Angeles you will arrive with the immediate intention of going to see the famous avenue Hollywood Boulevard.
That was the case in my first Los Angeles visit.
No doubt this avenue is a essential appointment, more specifically the section known as ptoilet of fame which popularly also receives the name of Walk of the Stars.
Walk of Fame from the Kodak Theater, in Hollywood, Los Angeles
In the section of said avenue between the gower street and the La Brea Avenue all the attractions of our visit are concentrated.
I mean the famousKodak theater, where every year the delivery of the Oscar awards, and, above all, the aforementioned Hall of Fame.
Hollywood Walk of Fame
On your walk along this section you will move between large tiles where the famous ones are happening stars with the names of famous artists of shows.
Thus, in addition to prestigious actors and film directors, you can see stars in tribute to artists from the world of theater, television, radio and music.
In this same area of the avenue, on the sidewalk section facing the Chinese Theater, you will also find the footprints and the signatures of artists Famous sunk in the cement.
Artists stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
It was in 1958 when Oliver Weismuller, a Californian artist hired to redesign this avenue, proposed the idea of filling the sidewalk of stars.
Since then until now more than 2,200 have been installed stars.
For the Hollywood Boulevard visitors The common entertainment is to go looking for the star of our favorite artists, which also include Spanish actors, such as Antonio Banderas, and also the signatures of the most prestigious artists.
In the end, do not be surprised if you are surrounded by a mass of tourists, all looking at the ground and taking pictures continuously.
